Happy New year Dynamicfolks!
You must’ve heard the saying, new year, new you! Now you wonder what’s new about someone who has just walked into a new year.
I know it has been a while since i put up any posts here but i am excited for the new year and so happy for the “Real you” i am sure you are as excited as i am for the new year?
Happy new year in February, right? I know, don’t take it like that, I’m a busy mum of 4 (shudders) Yes, you read that right!

Now here’s the real deal, over the years ’ve heard things that really don’t add up. I’ve wonder who made those up “New year, New you” i mean, what does that even mean?
Be Thankful
Now, i know that when we get into a new year, first thing we do is to be thankful to God for another year. Thankful for the year passed, mistakes and lessons.
Be Accountable
Next thing we do is reflect on the previous year. Get accountable, think through the events, successes, wins, challenges of the previous year. Analyse, reassess how things went, what went right, mistakes and then we make plans to make things better.
Make Changes
You get real, make real efforts for real life changes, dream reaching and goal getting. One might make plans in the heart, writing them down sets one off to getting them done. With prayers and hard work and that to me is what makes a you real to the new year.
Set Goals
Set new goals, make plans, look forward to bigger dreams to be achieved. Get real into yours skills, techniques, plan to achieve those goals and that is getting real with what’s in front of you.
Set achievable goals, take things one step at a time, try to overwhelm yourself.
Be Intentional
Now, if this isn’t a big part to everthing in life, i honestly don’t know what is! No matter how much plans make, not intentional with what you want to do, is missing the whole thing, energy, vibe, call it whatever you will.
To be intentional, you actually do things knowingly, take every step consciously, thoughtfully and carefully. This is something i have lately began to do with almost everything. Speaking to people intentionally, going on daily walks, enjoying the moment, it’s a kind of mindfulness thing, but also is wholesome to do.
Know your strengths
Whether you believe this or not, e all have strengths and weakness. Taken me a while to kind of get to know mine but take it from me, we all have them.
Make better your strengths and then improve on your weaknesses.
